The first step for equipping a building is surveying the property to determine the requirements according to Local Law 26. Maintenance
Local Law 26 RS 6-1 requires buildings to have a maintenance program and keep “photoluminescent signs and markings in good repair”. Further it requires your building to be inspected annually.
“The log of such inspections, including the result and any corrective measures taken shall be kept and maintained on the premises for inspection by the Department of Buildings and Fire Deparment.” Local Law 26 RS 6-1
